Why You Should Start Using Facial Toner
So, it’s your nightly routine. You’ve removed your make-up, washed your face and moisturized. You shut your eyes and enjoy a night of some well-deserved beauty sleep.
Then, in the morning, you wake up only to find residue from your make-up still on your face from the night before. “But, how did it get there,” you ask, “I washed my face!”
For starters, not all face wash has the power to get the job done. And, second, you’re not using facial toner.
Facial toner? Never heard of it? Let me give you the rundown on this magical little number that will work wonders in your skin-care routine.
What is it?
Facial toner is a skin-care tool that goes the extra mile to make your face feel clean and look refreshed. It removes excess dirt and residue, tightens your pores, makes your skin more moisture absorbent for when you apply your moisturizer and restores natural pH levels. All of these benefits fight against acne, restore elasticity and help smooth out your beautiful skin.
So, if you have acne or dry skin--or just need to give your face some extra love--then facial toner is definitely something for you.
How do you use it?
Using a facial toner is very simple. Just wash your face, apply some toner to a cotton pad and rub it on your face (pay attention to the t-zone, cheeks and chin line!). Then, finish off with your moisturizer. Want to be eco-friendly? Then skip the cotton pad and just apply the facial toner with your hands. Of course, make sure your hands are clean before applying the toner to your face.
